Matt Lamb assembled the system in his 1995 Nissan 200SX the old-fashioned way - one step at a time. He started the process by installing Sony's CDX-C4750 CD receiver, with its D-Bass low-frequency enhancement, CD changer controls, and two sets of preamp outputs.

The Nissan 200SX SE-R falls into the latter category. It's a lot of fun to drive. It's so much fun to drive that it's easy to overlook that it's also roomy, practical, quiet and comfortable. The sportiest model of Nissan's 200SX coupes, the SE-R competes in a world of cars that need to be sporty yet economical, fun to drive yet practical. Nissan's 200SX is essentially the coupe version of its Sentra compact sedan. The base and SE models are nice, affordable, practical, reliable coupes with sporty overtones. The SE-R, however, comes with a bigger, more powerful engine, better brakes and performance upgrades to the suspension and driveline. Nissan's 200SX SE-R is fun to drive because it can be hustled through corners with confidence. It provides good grip and, even more important, responds in a predictable fashion. One or two other cars in this class may offer quicker acceleration and trendier styling, but the 200SX SE-R boasts more interior space, a quieter cabin and crisp handling. Best of all, it costs less.
Project Nissan 200SX 1.6: Part 3
The Courtesy Nissan kit consists of quality OEM parts robbed from Nissan's parts bin. By checking and cross-referencing brake parts, Courtesy determined that the brakes from a '91 to '93 NX2000 with ABS would be a direct, bolt-on upgrade. This brake upgrade has also proven popular for the SE-R crowd and will also work on all years of SE-Rs with good results. The Courtesy kit consists of calipers, rotors, anti-rattle clips, brake pads and springs-all the stuff you need to bolt these much-improved stoppers right onto your Sentra. They will work on all '91 to '99 Sentras.
